Photoshop tip: Removing backgrounds quickly
Friday, August 24th, 2007Thembid.com explains how to remove backgrounds quickly using Photoshop. The trick? Using “Filter->Extract…”. You then highlight the section you want to keep, use the fill tool, click OK, and voilà! Quick’n’easy extraction.

Grabbing colour from anywhere with Photoshop
Thursday, March 23rd, 2006Now this is a handy little Photoshop tip: when you click down on the eyedrop tool (the one that lets you grab a specific colour), you can then drag the tool outside of the Photoshop window and pick up colours from anywhere in your screen.
I just checked it and it works.
