Photoshop tip: Reducing images while keeping their resolution at a good level

Tuesday, March 17th, 2009

I was getting very frustrated yesterday. One of the reviewers for our Interact paper asked us to add images of the software we used to collect our data. A fair request, I thought, since we go into some detail describing some of the screens and since we include the order of the screen presentation in […]

You suck at Photoshop

Friday, September 26th, 2008

Looking through the timeline of internet memes (and can I just point out that I’m flabbergasted by how many of those I missed the first time around), I came across one meme called You suck at Photoshop, a video series purported to teach you Photoshop tricks, but which really reflects the creator’s ongoing marital problems. Thursday, March 23rd, 2006

Now this is a handy little Photoshop tip: when you click down on the eyedrop tool (the one that lets you grab a specific colour), you can then drag the tool outside of the Photoshop window and pick up colours from anywhere in your screen.
I just checked it and it works.
