I dreamt about Kevin Werbach

So my dream started pretty normally - for someone who plays way too much WoW, anyways. I was inside the world of warcraft, possibly as a gnome, possibly in Gnomeregan. I know I was small and I was in a city with others like me. Suddenly a dwarf entered our city and started killing everyone. Of course, this makes no sense, since dwarfs and gnomes are allies, but hey, it was a dream. Anyway, the dwarf shoots a fireball at me which I try to avoid, even by jumping into a pool, but it still one-shotted me.
So now I’m dead inside this city of gnomes, except that now I’m myself instead of a gnome. So I start wandering down the hallway and who should I see but Kevin Werbach giving a presentation - in the hallway - to a bunch of students about the economics of virtual worlds, including WoW. How crazy is that? I know! If Kevin were to give a presentation, it would be about policies or the law and WoW, not economics. Silly subconscious! So I sit down to listen to the presentation. Kevin is showing a picture which illustrates how WoW is extremely popular in Florida (much more so than in other states) and after a female student asks a question about that, I butt in to explain that I think it’s because Blizzard has some offices in Florida.
At this point, there’s a short recess in the presentation and Kevin thanks me for coming to his presentation and tells me that he actually started late because he was waiting for me, and I didn’t have the heart to tell him that I had totally forgotten about the presentation and the only reason I was there was because I had gotten one-shotted earlier by a dwarf.
The second part of the presentation turns into an argument between Kevin and a female professor of linguistics. I can’t remember what the argument was about. I just remember that the linguistics prof would demonstrate her words by using cranes to display them. No, not the birds, the trucks. After that, my dream turned into something completely different.
I can only presume that I dreamt about Kevin because I would really love to go to his Supernova Conference, which will be held from December 1 to 3.

LOL! I had a dream about WoW people last night too, only my dream involved Tim and an unknown other. I remember I was supposed to know who he was, but I didn’t. We were going to a book signing by a fellow guildie. Don’t know who. Only Tim and the other person didn’t have room for me in their car, so I rode with someone else and they got lost. And so I was late. Very odd. Wonder what that’s about.

Must be all those people during the Meet’n'Greet who said they’d published a book/were about to publish a book.
